The rental deposit is any combination of the following, all determined by the host:
- 1st and/or last month's rent: The host determines if the 1st and/or last month's rent is included in the rental depoist
- Security deposit: To protect them against any damages to the house or missed payments
- Extra charges: Any additional charges a host wants up front (e.g. cleaning fees).
