Kopa requires that renters maintain a verified email address, a verified phone number, and upload a profile headshot.
Additionally, in order to rent or communicate with hosts, renters on Kopa are required to complete a rental application that includes a letter of employment or education for hosts to view and investigate in order to help establish confidence between renters and hosts. Letters of employment and/or transcripts for proof of education are fantastic ways for hosts to help verify their potential renters.
In order to further provide confidence and encourage host security, we additionally encourage renters and hosts to secure independent renters insurance to protect their individual personal items.
