Kopa is free for hosts to use since there is a small service fee on top of the rental deposit that renters pay you through Kopa.
List your space
When you list your space on Kopa, you'll be able to choose the rental deposit that renters have to pay in order to officially book your space. This rental deposit can be any combination of first month's rent, last month's rent, and/or security deposit. This security deposit provides you with the insurance you need to know that your space will be respected.
Renters on Kopa can only view listings if they specify a start and end date. Your listing will show in the search results if it is available for the dates the renter specified.
Accept or decline booking requests
If a renter is interested in your space they can message you or send a booking request. If a renter or renters message you and are interested in renting your space, ask them to send a booking request through Kopa. You are in complete control and can accept or decline booking requests as you see fit.
When you accept a booking request you'll be able to choose which bank account to payout to. The renter will then be prompted to pay the rental deposit.
Note: A renter is officially accepted as a tenant after they pay the rental deposit through Kopa.
Receive monthly rent through Kopa
Tenants pay monthly rent through Kopa. Their rent will be paid out to the same bank account you sent their rental deposit to. Rent is due on the 1st of each month by default. They automatically receive rent reminders from Kopa 3 days before it's due, on the day it's due, and every day they're late.
Easily track all Kopa payments and stays in one place (where you can see who has paid and who is overdue).
Return security deposits
After a tenant moves out you can return their security deposit by selecting "Transactions" in your hosting dashboard and then "Return Deposit".
