Kopa recommends that you have a lease for each of your new renters as a tangible agreement with them that protects both you as a host and them as renters. Many cities and states offer their own basic lease agreements that can be edited and customized for your individual needs.
A lease is the place where you, as a host, will be able to outline your specific policies, identify specific information about fees and charges, and establish expectations for your renters.
Your involvement
You are responsible for providing a lease to the renters.
When to send a lease
You should send your lease to renters after they send a booking request. You can do this by sending them a message via Kopa and adding the lease as a PDF or document attachment.
